the present moment

Today I wanna talk about the present moment.
everybody tells us to be in the present moment and how am I suppose to be in a present moment that no one talks about. 
everyone says like be the water and no one tells how to be like water.
everyone tells to silent the mind but no one tells how to.
yes, there is a way I think I can give words to it.
but first, you have to know that you have to ask for the right question to you and how to know what is the right question to ask?
if you ask someone the right question you will surely get an answer.
so how to figure out the right question?
let's say in the present tense what thoughts are there just analyze it and ask the question that is related to that certain thoughts. 
like, let's say there are two worlds one is of mind and another is the body.
and we the sprit jobs is to balance the thought and reality.
let go little deeper with more to understand 
the thoughts that don't match the way of our action mean reality check for the dominant side of the world that we live and if we are more in thoughts and less in action then we should balance it out.
let's give an example of balance.
The first thoughts that come is habit/feeling and the reasons behind the thought is the belief/why we first decided to make this habit. and then just ask the thought what we wanted the same destination like what we have got before? now is the time to look at what we are doing and if we want the same outcome like before then we cant do it but if we want different outcomes then we can change the belief by showing that the destination is changed so the belief no longers is used full. let's give a small example to know more or get the sense of it. 
if you drive to the office and you always want to take the same route from home to office, and one day you know the road that you took was under construction. while leaving you home you think I will go from this route (this is mindset) and so you have a new mindset than when you reach the point where you should change the route. and get outside of your habit. but at first, your thoughts will be the same as every day to take the same route and if you didn't understand and took that thought as always then we will go and fall into trap of habit so now we know the outcome so if we chose the other way and give our thought the reason for our action or just know the choice that is best for you then we change the habit and if you can give the reason and change to new reason for choosing the new way then we will change the belief that was holding us back.
